Mitchell D. Weiss is an experienced financial services industry executive, entrepreneur and regular contributor to Credit.com. He's owned and run commercial finance companies, and has served as an executive officer at several banks. Since 2008, he's led a management consulting practice, advising banks, private equity firms, small businesses and professional practices.
Mitch is also adjunct professor of finance at the University of Hartford where he teaches "Personal Financial Management" and “Entrepreneurial Finance for Nonbusiness Majors,” undergraduate courses that are based upon his books. He is a board member of the university’s Barney School of Business and co-founder of its Center for Personal Financial Responsibility.
